Thirty-eight years looking after the animals of Jávea
Asís opened in Jávea in 1988 under Dr Antonia Luna Pizarro. Several generations of dogs and cats have come through the consulting room since then, and several generations of families with them. Some clients have been bringing their animals here for over thirty years.
That shapes how we work. We know the animal's history, we know how it behaves in the consulting room and we know the family behind it. In a small clinic that continuity shows in every visit, and it is the one thing no chain can offer.

Also if you are on holiday in Jávea
Every summer we treat animals that are just passing through. A dog cut on the rocks, a cat that has stopped eating mid-move, an emergency halfway through the holiday. We treat them just the same, even if we have never seen that animal before.
And in the other direction: if you are leaving the country with your animal, we prepare the passport, the worming treatment and the travel certificates within the correct deadlines. The timings for the British certificate are strict and leave no room for improvisation.

Outside consulting hours
There is no on-site cover at the clinic outside consulting hours. If your animal needs immediate attention at night or at the weekend, go to a 24-hour emergency centre in the Marina Alta. Call us as soon as we open and we will pick the case up from there.
