About this service
Digital radiography gives the image in seconds and with less radiation than classic film. We use it for bones and joints, for the chest and for locating foreign bodies, which in a coastal town turn up more often than you would think. Ultrasound lets us watch the abdomen in motion: liver, kidneys, bladder, uterus and pregnancy.
Having our own laboratory is the difference between knowing today and knowing next week. Full blood count, biochemistry and the rapid tests for the diseases that matter in this area are all run here. In an animal that has gone downhill suddenly, those hours count.
