About this service
We carry out soft tissue surgery: neutering and spaying, removal of lumps, skin surgery, dental procedures and the surgical emergencies that can be resolved in a clinic of our size. Before any anaesthetic we run pre-anaesthetic bloodwork, because the risk is almost always in what you cannot see.
The animal is monitored throughout and is not left alone while coming round. We explain beforehand what the operation involves, what it will cost and what care it will need at home afterwards. If a procedure needs equipment we do not have here, we say so and refer you, which is the honest thing to do.
